This website does not automatically collect personal information, nor will it ever do so. Our web server does not automatically recognize or store your email address of any other personally identifiable information. We do collect email addresses in order to send information to visitors who request it, but we do so only with the visitor's permission. When collecting email for the purpose of sending information, we do so through a process known as "double optin". In this process, the visitor is required to not only submit their email, but then click on a confirmation link to again verify that they wish to receive email from us. This helps protect our visitors from spam. This double optin process is the current best practice model in the industry and is in full compliance with Canspam laws.
Again, we do not automatically collect any personal information. The only visitor information we do collect is aggregated information about how visitors navigate and interact with this website. This information does not uniquely identify visitors. It simply lets us see patterns of use by visitors so we can continue to make the site more and more user-friendly. For example, we can see how many pages were visited, average length of time spent on the site, and so forth. Again, we do not use that tracking information for anything but the use described above.
In some cases, we use "cookies" to make the website easier for visitors to use, and to properly track any transactions that are generated by visitors from this site. Please be aware that if you block cookies for this site, navigation may be effected and the site will not be able to operate properly. Please further note that the cookies we use do NOT harm you computer in any way. They most certainly do NO contain any malicious code of any kind such as adware, spyware, viruses, trojans, worms or any other type of malware. These cookies are simply web standard session cookies. They are used on most commercial websites and pose no threat whatsoever.
